The closest taste to Tijuana street tacos. We miss San Diego's El Gordo's and Tijuana style street tacos, but Tacos La Banquets holds us over. I will say they have the best cabeza taco I have ever had.

Food is good and filling! Really recommend the Pastor tacos, the meat is flavorful and has a bit of a spicy kick to it. $2.00 a taco which is great for double tortilla (we got maiz) and good meat serving. The red salsa was spicy, I wish the green one had more flavor. The dining space was clean and had lots of seating. The folks at the register were friendly and fast. A great spot to grab a bite to eat!

Hands down the best tacos I have had in DFW!! I first had these during my residency at BUMC with my co-residents. Through the years they have remained my favorite taco in DFW. The el pastor is the best taco for sure!! The tacos even heat up well as leftovers, so don't be afraid to take some home! The service is always so sweet and welcoming, and they are super quick in making the food too! Don't judge a book by its cover on this one!

My favorite favorite taco spot. They make you feel so welcomed every time I come in here and the tacos are by far the best in Dallas. It was 6:50pm one time and even when my grandpa wanted coffee, the brewed a fresh pot for him. That's beyond the best customer service. Thank you guys!

Best street taco place I've been too in the downtown Dallas area. The prices are good, service is fast, and I love how it's such a hole in the wall. Personally, I don't mind when a place is a little rusty- only if the food there is good. I took these to go, but for 3 suadero tacos ($2 each) and a small horchata ($2?) you can't beat the price. The meat was so tender/seasoned and horchata was not grainy. Will be back to try more types of tacos. Great place for either dine in/take out.

Best street tacos in Dallas! Al pastor taco was the best one I tried. It is served with grilled pineapple, onions, cilantro and a lime. I've also had the chicken and steak tacos. The salsas that come with the tacos (one red and one green) are some of the best salsas I've had but they are spicy! It's flavorful and really elevates the tacos. It's a walk up counter and the ladies taking orders are very efficient and nice. It's clean and a great stop for lunch or dinner.

I've been wanting to visit this spot for years, but I don't visit downtown Dallas enough to stop by. My manager recently reminded me of this place, and I was downtown for an anime convention, so it was perfect timing. The restaurant is a little outdated and dirty, but that's how you know the food is going to be FIRE. The menu was simple and easy to understand. You have your typical street tacos, tortas, quesadillas, and drinks. Luckily, we came right before the dinner rush because after we sat down, the restaurant was PACKED and the line went from one end to the other. The tables were pretty dirty. I'm not sure if the workers wipe them down after someone sits there, but I grabbed some paper towels and wiped them before sitting. My boyfriend and I ordered 10 tacos, each with different meats so we can try them out. I also got a horchata fresca as well, and it was one of the best horchata that I tried. Idk what they did, but the drink was light, and there wasn't too much of that grainy part inside. It took about 10 mins for the tacos to come out, and HOLY SH*T, the tacos were ALL SO FREAKIN' GOOD!!! I loved my typical lingua and tripe tacos, but the highlight was the suadero tacos. I think that's a thin slice of beef, but it was juicy and authentic and they have the perfect amount of onion and cilantro. I regret not buying more of the suadero tacos, and the line was too long for me to get some to-go. I took off one star because of the cleanliness. I usually don't mind but the tables were really dirty and there were flies flying around. I'll definitely grab like 6+ tacos next time for myself because I've been thinking about their juicy tacos for days now. Delicious!!

I had been wanting to try this place for a while now and I was sort of in the neighborhood, so I had a chance to try these tacos out for lunch that one day. First of all this place is a hole in the wall joint and isn't the prettiest place around, but the tacos are really, really good. I had a bistek and a pastor taco and they were $2.00 tacos at that! While everyone else is raising their prices because of this climate we are living in right now, these tacos are still $2.00, so you can't beat those prices. The only thing I wish they had was a salsa verde. They do have 2 styles of salsa, but I wish they had salsa verde. I will be back to buy these tacos and I will probably buy salsa verde elsewhere.
